Privacy Policy

When you place an order: your name, phone number, delivery address, and district/zone — needed to deliver your order and contact you about it. We do not collect payment card or bank details, since HubBangladesh only accepts Cash on Delivery.

When you create an account: your name, email or phone number, and a securely hashed password. You can optionally add a profile picture, delivery address, and district/area to your account, which we store to speed up future checkouts.

When you ask to be notified about restocks: your phone number, so we can text you once when the item is back in stock. We don't use this number for anything else.

When you browse the site: we use cookies/local storage to remember your cart, wishlist, light/dark theme preference, and the last few products you viewed on your device. The “recently viewed” list never leaves your device — only product IDs are kept, and you can clear it by clearing your browser data.

We use Google Tag Manager, a tag management system that loads our analytics and advertising tools (described below) in a controlled way. It does not collect personal information itself beyond what those individual tools already gather. You can read Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are visited, where people click, and how far they scroll. This helps us fix confusing pages and improve the shopping experience. Clarity may record anonymized session activity (clicks, scrolling, page views); it does not collect payment information, and any text you type into sensitive fields is masked before it leaves your browser. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how effective our Facebook and Instagram ads are, and to show relevant ads to people who've visited our site. It records page views and on-site actions in a way that can be linked to your Facebook/Instagram account if you have one and are logged in there. We share the minimum information necessary with:

• Pathao — our delivery courier, to fulfill and ship your order
• Cloudinary — to host product images, review photos, and account profile pictures
• SMS/email providers — to send order verification codes and restock notifications you've asked for
• Google Tag Manager — to load our analytics and advertising tools, as described above
• Microsoft Clarity — for anonymized site-usage analytics, as described above
• Meta (Facebook) — for ad performance measurement and retargeting, as described above

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. You can also clear your cart/wishlist/theme preference at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
